About the art
In 2013, I had an idea for red balloons in Paris. I decided to shoot a series of red balloons in different locations around the city. I started at 5 and they quickly went down to 4 then 3. I had no idea how much joy the balloons would bring to the people on the streets. Parisians smiled from ear to ear as I passed by holding an armful of red balloons.
