I took a trip to Paris on a whim in 2010. I was working as a Nanny after being laid off. The family was going on Spring Break, so I decided to take a solo trip to Paris. There was one photo in my Etsy shop at the time that was getting more hits than anything else so I was using this as research that Paris just might work for me. I hadn't quite found my niche for my photography shop. I used airline miles from my previous job and a little bit of money I had saved and took the leap. It was my first solo trip abroad and my second trip to Paris.
It wasn't an overnight success, but that first trip to Paris was a launching point for my photography and my business. I have spent extended time in Paris over the years. I have seen the rooftops covered in snow, the cherry blossoms in full bloom, and the leaves changing color in The Tuileries. I have collected thousands of photos over the years, but I share just a small selection here in the shop.
Six years ago, I started a blog about my love for Paris and ways to be inspired by the Parisian culture. You can see more Paris photos here, along with more about my personal life on Everyday Parisian.
I run my photography business from Chicago and travel back to Paris a few times a year.
Thank you so much for being here!
